Marcel Ollé

As a child, I spent the afternoons after school in the studio of a relative, a painter. I loved the orderly mess of paintings, paint, brushes, all scattered on the floor, forming a “magnificent chaos”. That was where my curiosity towards the artistic world began to awaken.

Years later, around 2012, after I lost my job, that's when my sister left me her reflex camera. In that moment I discovered my passion for capturing sporadic moments where what matters is beauty, no matter where it comes from. Landscapes, portraits, streets... And lots and lots of everyday photography.

Two years later I bought my own camera and started photographing everything my eye could see.

Today, more than 10 years later, I am exhibiting for the first time these eight photographs taken between 2017 and 2021, both in Barcelona and in the Balearic Islands, two of my favorite places.
