At EVENTOS CULTURALES DALMASES we promote culture and art from its most varied aspects: hobbies, workshops, courses, collecting, cultural and artistic activities, cultural shows, painting and photography exhibitions, conferences, ..., with special emphasis on dissemination flamenco culture and rumba as forms of expression deeply rooted in Catalan society. Flamenco culture in Catalonia dates back to the mid-19th century. The best dancer of all time Carmen Amaya was originally from Somorrostro Barcelonés. BARCELONA, a strategic port in the Mediterranean, meets all the requirements to be one of the capitals of Flamenco, not in vain has it collected the testimony of different cultures, races and religions and has a community of gypsy population, rooted in the city for more 500 years.  Cultural Events Dalmases has been conceived as a multifunctional space for any type of specific event. The Palau Dalmases is located in the heart of El Born, a few meters from the Picasso Museum. It is one of the best hidden architectural treasures in Barcelona. A baroque palace that currently serves as the setting for cultural events but has a long history connected to important events in the city. Currently in the Palace you can enjoy both theatrical and musical shows, as well as events that promote the arts and culture. This old Palace has been converted today into a sober and warm space thanks to a reform in which the vaulted ceilings, the stone walls, the wooden beams and the cast iron columns have been kept intact, together with a successful combination of contemporary materials. At street level, in the majestic main entrance you can see the Baroque Solomonic columns that give the Palau Dalmases the consideration of a singular space.

Flamenco shows are held daily ( see here ) , with a cast that has won Certificate of Excellence 2016 - 2019 for four consecutive years, and that in 2020 was considered the show within 10% of the best attractions in the world (TRAVELER's CHOICE 2020 )
